------ "Vapid Interceptor Police Package" V 1.0 by Vx5 Voltage ------

Lore friendly inspired mod of the now discontinued Ford (Taurus) Police Interceptor Sedan. The original R* model is mostly based off the 2011 Taurus Concept, but Ive added some design cues from the 2014+ models.
I noticed there wasn't allot of major stuff that had been done with the vanilla Pol3 Interceptor, so thats basically how this mod came to exist. This is also a companion piece to my Vapid Torrence mod

Version 1.0 Contains the following models:

Vapid Police Interceptor - LSPD Cruiser and Slicktop (intcept)
Unmarked Interceptor - Police Undercover Unit (intcept2)
Vapid Police Interceptor - LSSD Cruiser (intcept3)
Unmarked Interceptor - FIB/Covert Unit (intcept4)

Features:
* All basic vehicle functions: breaking glass, dirt mapping, proper LODs etc
* Revamped Vapid Interceptor model, with bug fixes, texture improvements, new front bumper, new engine bay, interior details, and other general improvements/additions
* Various vehicle extras, added interior equipment/details, and more!
* Lore Friendly Ford Police Interceptor style steelies and hubcap wheels
* Enhanced emergency lighting equipment, with custom carcols.meta for improved lighting that stays true to the vanilla sirens
* Installation via Addon or Replace DLC
* Optional Mapped Development Models with 4k template
* Optional Models and Textures that can revert all vehicles to a more vanilla style!
* Optional Handling.Meta that gives the Interceptor a more realistic driving feel!

If your looking for a civilian overhaul of the Vapid Interceptor, check out my Vapid Torrence SSO mod, a lore friendly take on the Ford Taurus SHO (which this mod was originally apart of:)

Installation: "Replacement via DLC" method

1. Launch OpenIV

2. Navigate to: mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks. (If you don't have a mods folder already, then I recommend making one via OpenIV)

3. Drag and drop the full "polintercept" file from this archive into dlcpacks (make sure you are in OpenIV's Edit mode!)

4. Now navigate to: mods / update / update.rpf / common / data /

5. Then find "dlclist.xml" and add this line at the bottom (without the quote marks) "
dlcpacks:\polintercept\
"
This will allow the mods to continue to work without any major conflicts, or if Rockstar updates the game with more Online content

6. Now move up to: levels / gta5 / and open "vehicles.meta" Then take the lines of "fbi" "police3" "police4" and "sheriff" and replace them with the ones from this mods vehicles.meta, this will allow
for minimal conflicts between mods that use any of the vanilla vehicle slots

7. Launch GTA V, models replace the "FBI" "Police3" "Police4" and "Sheriff" slots

Installation: "Addon DLC" method

1. Launch OpenIV

2. Navigate to: mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks. (If you don't have one already, then I recommend making one via OpenIV)

3. Drag and drop the full "polintercept" file from this archive into dlcpacks (make sure you are in OpenIV Edit mode!)

6. Launch GTA V, model names are "Intcept" "Intcept2" "Intcept3" "Intcept4" respectively. You'll need a trainer in order to spawn them!

(Addon DLC Only:) Installation of Handling Meta:

Included with this mod is a custom Handling Meta done by Eddlm, that can give the car gives a more refined performance and handling. To install this, simply open the vehicles.meta of the Addon Installation (Replacement DLC
will NOT work!) and replace all "FUGITIVE" handling entries with "INTERCEPTOR" then launch the game. WARNING!! This Handling greatly increases the acceleration of and lessens the braking power of the car, therefore it is
advised not to use this Handling config with things like the Cop AI, as it does not blend well with their aggressive driving style during a Wanted Level chase!
